In reply to: [BuddyPress] Why I left BuddyBoss and came back to BuddyPress + YouzifyHi, Alamea. Yes, BuddyPress itself is outdated, but Youzify makes up for that to a large degree. Good luck!

In reply to: [BuddyPress] Why I left BuddyBoss and came back to BuddyPress + YouzifyHi, Mathieu. I was new to Youzify when I wrote that. I’ve now been using it for several months, and I’m even more happy with it. The support is excellent, and they have many optional add-ons available that enable me to accomplish some useful, otherwise-impossible things with BuddyPress. My only complaint with it is that I have to deal with Envato, which I normally avoid like the plague. But Youzify is worth that hassle.

In reply to: [YOP Poll] Bar and column charts soon?I don’t see any way to attach images here.
Email me at [redacted by moderator] and I’ll send you some samples. Also, can I use your polls to create a membership enrollment form? I want new members on our new website to “pay” for their membership by taking a poll.

In reply to: [Visual Form Builder] VFB is not compatible with WordPress 6.0You’re right: 3.1 fixed the problem. Thanks.

In reply to: [Classic Widgets] Classic Widgets is broken in WordPress 6.0You’re right, Tonya. WordPress 6.0 broke a plugin called Visual Form Builder, which I don’t think we were even using on the site. I deactivated that plugin, and it fixed the widgets problem. To answer your question, the problem was just on the back end. Thanks very much for your kind help!

In reply to: [Classic Widgets] Classic Widgets is broken in WordPress 6.0Thanks for the quick and thorough reply, Tonya. I’ll forward your message to our developer (who won’t be able to work on it until Saturday).
One point: the only thing that changed was the installation of WordPress 6.0. No other plugins were updated at that time, so there’s definitely a link between the problem and the new version of WordPress.
If I can’t get Classic Widgets to work, do you know how I can access and edit my sidebar widgets? How do people who don’t use Classic Widgets access their widgets?
Glad to hear it, Alex, because it’s the worst part of your plugin. I’m constantly clicking the Facebook button instead of the tooltips, which wastes time.
OK, thanks again for all your help, Nick. I’ll subscribe soon.
Ah, yes. Somehow I missed that.
Note: I had to flush my cache to get the change to take effect, which might be a warning you want to provide there. Thanks for your prompt and excellent support! I’m considering paying for your pro version, and have a question about the Twitter “cards” feature: does that mean that images would automatically appear when we share, without our having to attach them?
Thanks, Nick. I think you might be underestimating the power and speed of muscle memory. I share articles from that website to social media daily, and I constantly find myself click the icon before the tooltips appear…and I know how they are supposed to work. Users who used to normal share buttons will probably have a worse problem with them.
Sorry: I should have included that. https://revitalization.org

In reply to: [Zephyr Project Manager] Is Zephyr compatible with BuddyPress or BuddyBossThanks for that info, Dylan. Please email me at [email protected] when you get to the beta testing phase: I’ll be happy to help with that.
We’re creating a major new BuddyBoss-based site at RisingPlaces.com. If you can get your plugin to provide a separate project for each BuddyBoss group, we’ll be willing and able to give Zephyr some significant promotion.
Thanks, John.
The problem is related to cookies in some way. If I clear cache and cookies, I’m able to login and logout OK, but only once. As soon as the cookies are present, the logout function stops working.
There are no PHP logs associated with the logout function, Marc.
