No idea Sam, maybe ask as a new question here, or try https://stackoverflow.com/questions/tagged/wordpress

    good luck ??

    There may come a time

While true I simply couldn’t find anything official supporting this … yet.

@seboss666, @jdembowski I was wondering the same thing and after this thread was the only thing I could find about it I started digging. Apparently every version after 3.7 is getting security patches:

When a security update is pushed for the current stable release of WordPress, the core team will also push security updates for all the releases that are capable of background updates (since WordPress 3.7), so these older but still recent versions of WordPress will receive security enhancements.

    Hi Brett,

While checking out the reviews for ‘minifying’ plugins I saw your comment and have to agree with the author. As you pointed out yourself, the plugin did it’s job by speeding up your site – that should be worth 5 stars. If it then caused some trouble with a 3rd part tool you might – IMO – remove one or two stars and file it as a bug – no technical adjustment will work with all tools out there without further modification (work/time/effort).
Then the plugin author can prioritize your bug – depending on how much effort it will be to solve and how many people require it … or what ever …

    Cheers,
    Albert

P.S.: I don’t know the author. I haven’t tested the plugin yet myself, but will do so soon.

    Hi there,

I can’t exactly say what it was, but after the provider change some permissions so that I don’t get the 550 error again all the plugins work again as well.

    Thanks again for your help!

    Hi esmi,

    Thanks for your answer.
I tried the theme switch and the memory increase without any result. When I tried to rename the plugins folder the server told me my FTP user doesn’t have the permissions (550 access denied). Waiting for the provider at the moment to sort that out.
