I’ve already done that twice previously. The problem returns within 6 hours.
My hosting company did it again yesterday with the same result.Wayne

In reply to: [Page Security & Membership] Protected menu item causes PHP errorI’ve found a work-around. Clear the Menu Filtering checkbox and force login by checking the Send anonymous users to login screen checkbox.
Anonymous users can see the menu items, but when they click on them, they get the login screen instead.

In reply to: [The Events Calendar Widget] Updated plugin and Website went white.I have the same problem and am using the same fix for now. If you open the file …/the-events-list-category-widget.php, line 15 refers to an absolute path:
include_once( ABSPATH . '/wp-content/plugins/the-events-calendar/lib/widget-list.class.php' );
It looks like The Events Calendar has changed its structure and the widget needs to catch up. I can’t find the lib directory at all, or the widget-list.class.php file anywhere.
I’m running The Event Calendar 3.10, The Events Calendar Widget 0.9.4 on WordPress 4.2.2 running Contango theme.

In reply to: [WangGuard] wangguard-about.php is deleted each morningI’ve been in touch with my hosting provider, the file wangguard-about.php was being quarantined by the server’s eXploit Scanner. It has now been added to the Ignore list.
Thanks for your quick response to my original message. ??Forum: Reviews
In reply to: [The Events Calendar] Works straight out of the boxI’ll expand on my review now I’ve had some more experience with the plugin. I’m running 3.8 on a new WP4.0 site and it is really easy to work with. It took less than 10 minutes from clicking on the “Install” link to creating new events. Another 10 minutes had it using the base theme stylesheets, with some HTML added to the bottom of the event pages. The settings labels make sense, the documentation is easy to read, everything works the way it says it will.
I rolled back to 3.7.7, changed the theme to Twenty Eleven, reapplied the 3.8.13.3 upgrade at the network level, applied it to the sites and then the upgrade your database link came up under Upgrades > Upgrade Network.
CPU is sub 6%, no core dumps in 5 hours. I had three in the 5 minutes it took to change the theme.
