Have you tried using AdSense with Ad Injection?

Hi decoratewithalittlebit, other people can insert ads on your site if thy give you the ad code to copy into the boxes.

If you use something like Google AdSense then you will be showing other people’s adverts.

Hi FaithJava, if you want to do this with Ad Injection you can use the template ads feature (see the FAQ). You would have to edit your template to do this.

Hi marcomancosu, I’d suggest you try inserting the adverts without Ad Injection. See if you get the same problem. If you do get the same problem see if you can see any JavaScript errors/warnings listed by IE. Also those ‘rocketscript’ lines aren’t standard JavaScript – perhaps you have some script optimiser on your site which is breaking things.

Look at the ‘supported in-page tags’ section on the advanced tab.

Hi wombatsupa, are you testing this using a single category? Did you compare using exactly the category for the top/bottom ad?

Hi qwik3r, you could add custom widget areas to your theme in the post areas, and then Ad Injection would be able to put adverts in those areas. Either way you could only do what you currently want with some PHP programming (or by finding another plugin which will do what you want – I don’t think there are any though!).

Hi qwik3r, you can do that for the Ad Injection widgets. You can limit the ad to appear on pages matching specific tags. And you can add multiple ads into the widget settings which will be rotated on the pages matching those tags. You’d need to create a new widget for each set of tags you want to target.
