This is not a plugin feature, some themes offer the star count on the shop page and archive page. You may contact your theme’s support.

Hope you’re doing great.
I believe that when you’re trying to upload an image on a review you’re logged into your admin account. That is why it’s bringing up the WordPress media library. You can try to upload an image with a general customer account. I hope this will also resolve the second issue.
