In reply to: [Sydney] Toggle (open/close) submenu-item onClickHi @kharisblank,
expanding the dropdown-symbol to full-width of the menu item – what a brilliant idea!?? And it works perfectly.
Thank you very much!

In reply to: [Sydney] Toggle (open/close) submenu-item onClickHi Kharis,
thank you for your reply. The site is https://www.anwaltskanzlei-altmann.de. Sydney is Version 2.12 (with child theme). The submenus I‘d like to open ?onClick“ to the item-text on mobile/touch are under ?Kanzlei“ and ?Kontakt & Service“.
It works when tapping on the dropdown-symbol in the mobile menu. But I’d also like this behavior when tapping on the item-text (I hope you understand what I mean). How do I have to configure the topmenu-items (in Admin > Design > Menus or elsewhere)? (Currently I use the first sub-page of each submenu as topmenu-item.)
Kind regards,

In reply to: [JobScout] Category-search: no placeholder / filter not working#1 workaround (or solution?): I copied template-parts/header-form.php to a child theme folder and added the following code to get a placeholder:
<option value="" selected><?php esc_attr_e( 'Job Category', 'jobscout' ); ?></option>

In reply to: [JobScout] Category-search: no placeholder / filter not workingHello @rarathemesupport,
in fact I have the same page as homepage and job-search/result-page. I thought that the filters would also be working in the jobs-section (below the banner). Obviously they are not, but are only effective for search-results displayed on the jobs-page. I’ll change that and issue #2 is resolved.
Thank you very much!

In reply to: [JobScout] Category-search: no placeholder / filter not workingHello @rarathemesupport,
many thanks for your reply and for forwarding #1 to the developers. I have just recognized that the WP Job Manager-plugin already provides a placeholder titled “Choose a category…”, which seems to be used in the “Post Job”-form in JobScout. So I hope it won’t be a big issue to include it in the search-form as well.
Re #2: I use the standard page installed during WP Job Manager-setup and it includes the
[jobs]
-shortcode. Hope this helps…Forum: Themes and Templates

In reply to: [JobScout] Banner image size / container too small?@rarathemesupport No further questions (so far), 5-star-review submitted. ???

In reply to: [JobScout] WP Job Manager Translation not displayedUpdate: I found the reason, why the elements are not translated: The form-placeholders (and some other elements) are filled by the JobScout-theme language files, not by the WP Job Manager-plugin language files.
As soon as I set up a German translation for the theme (via Loco translate-plugin) ad entered translations there, they appear in the frontend.
Is this intentional?

In reply to: [JobScout] WP Job Manager Translation not displayedThanks for your answer. The issue is not resolved yet.
I just tried another theme (Neve). In Neve the translation of the placeholders is working, in JobScout – which I’d prefer to use – it’s not. I just switched back to JobScout, so you can see the issue.

In reply to: [Quiz Maker] Save answers + continue later?Hello @hyenokian,
many thanks for your quick reply and information. I’d very much appreciate if this feature would be implemented, because it would really extend the scope of application of QM and improve usability for more extensive tests (at least with regard to e-learning and digital education).
Maybe this could be done easily by either setting a cookie containing given answers (with the risk of the cookie being deleted on browser exit according to the user’s settings) or by a individual url with neccessary information in the query-string (something like
https://[domain]/[path-to-quiz]/?continue=[test-id]&q1=1_3&q2=a2&q3=a4&q4=text+answer&q5=...]
). This might not be the most secure way (I admit I’m not a developer), but it may be easier and faster to develop than using database operations. Just a suggestion…Thank you and kind regrds,
