In reply to: [Widgets for Google Reviews] Can Widgets show replies? Thanks for the reply, maybe an option for a future update then? Possibly in list if not also grid layout. Would be a good feature IMHO. And if replies can be pulled through to the summary at admin.trustindex.io (noticed this yesterday) then why not…
Signed up for Pro yesterday before the offer expired ??
Hi Jesse
Thanks for the response. Unfortunately the FTP/SFTP implementation on the Synology NASs is pretty poor in this regard. I have managed to do this but it’s still not working despite me testing from another remote (Windows) server using WinSCP that drops files straight into the home folder on the NAS for the new FTP account.
Maybe a future mod for Total Upkeep would be to allow folder path into the field along with a means to run a test scheduled backup on a button rather than having to setup a Cron job and letting that run… or am I missing something there?

In reply to: [Smart External Link Click Monitor [Link Log]] GDPR compliance alertHi Peter
Thank you for your response. Time is a rare commodity… I suffer from that problam too.
No, I didn’t delete the entries, just changed swcc_linklog_gdpr_compliant value to 1 which removed the alert.
Happy to test a beta of a revised plugin for you. I would need to extract the relevant table from the live site which is still currently non compliant/un-hashed.

In reply to: [Smart External Link Click Monitor [Link Log]] GDPR compliance alertHi Peter. No spaces, the apparently blank fields are just that, no content, not even a space character. In essence Null.

In reply to: [Smart External Link Click Monitor [Link Log]] GDPR compliance alertHi Peter
There are a number of records that are blank in respect of the linklog_ip field. This is the same on our production server that is still running the older, pre GDPR compliant, version of the plugin.
The swcc_linklog_gdpr_compliant record in the options table has an option_value of 0 which seems to infer that it’s failed the check, possibly due to the blank fields? If you like I’ll back-up the database, delete the blank records and then see if an de-activate/re-activate clears the notice.

In reply to: [Smart External Link Click Monitor [Link Log]] GDPR compliance alertHi Peter, thank you for your response. No need to apologise…
Unfortunately deactivating and re-activating the plugin fails to solve the issue. The alert is tenaciously remaining at the top of all the admin screens.

In reply to: [WP Super Cache] Solution: Preload deleting supercache files on Windows stackMany thanks Mike, preload now seems to be working for me under IIS7.
I’m on v1.4.7 and your suggestion isn’t included in wp-cache-phase1.php.
Thanks for your very quick response. As said, great plugin and issue is resolveable once you realise what’s going on. Great that fix is in the pipeline. I’ve left a rating, 5 stars despite issue. Well done, keep up the good work.
Thank you for your response which is encouraging. However, the discovery of the issue occurred as I was carrying out updates ahead of a handover of the site to a new web-master (my kids are no longer in the scout group, his are just starting).
I have limited time available to troubleshoot issues on a charity site that I just volunteer my time to run. After tracing which plugin was causing the issue and trying a few attempts to rectify it from advice given for others with the same issue (increase memory limit for the site, which had no effect) the quick fix was to remove the gallery.
I accept that you have spent long hard hours developing the plugin and offer it free of charge, for the use we had I am grateful. If there is a future update I will recommend that the new web-master install it and see if the problem is resolved.
