There’s nothing specific, it’s just something I don’t have any perspective to use and that was added to my WordPress site. I like keeping it tight and clean, as much as possible.

I hoped there was some functions.php code that could disable these roles.

It does, partially. Spotify, for instance, doesn’t appear in “Other”. I say that because one of our two podcasts ir huge in Spotify (>8k listens/month), and yet overall listens in SSP’s stats are below that number.

So, for now, I know which sources SSP can track reliably, but I don’t know which it can’t, like Spotify. I understand this may be an issue beyond your scope, but I hope that we could, together, find this out.

So, apparently that’s the bug: the main feed setting is overwriting each show’s settings.

Can you register in order to be fixed in next release of Seriously Simple Podcasting, @keleigh824?

Actually I don’t fill the excerpt details for the episodes.

At first I thought this was some bug with Apple’s revamped podcast app, but then I saw the same problem in Pocket Casts.

I was looking at settings trying to figure out something misconfigured. There are two podcasts, both of them marked to show full content posts, but both of them are showing excerpts. I noticed that “default feed”, which I don’t share/use, was marked to show excerpts. Any possible that this option is overwriting those of each individual feed? I changed it, just in case. Later today I will publish a new episode, and I’ll let you know if anything changes.

@zahardoc @danjorad Something was wrong in our end/server indeed. As soon our sysadmin fixed it, everything worked fine as usual.

In my site, non-sticky posts are asides, while sticky posts are special weekly issues/posts — they are sticky for a week, then they are “moved” to a separate archive page. Even when there is no sticky post, I’d like to tell readers about what they see — in this case, asides, non-special posts.

You’re right. In my case, however, I never keep two or more sticky posts active, so this scenario is a non-issue. My problem is when there is no sticky posts.
