Should I open a ticket to my server informing about this? Actually I am using Bluehost. What can I write to them to resolve the server related issues?

I have just upgraded to version 2.7.7 and the problem came back. Needed to re-apply the above patch.

Hi, I just upgraded the plugin to version 2.7.6. Well, the error persist on PDF files, but intead the browser show a new error windows, I am getting “Network Error” after the download (Chrome). On Firefox, I am getting this error:

<filename> could not be saved, because the source file could not be read

I think I am facing the same problem here, but the messages are different. My configurations are:

• From Email: [email protected]
• From Name: My Site
• [Checked] Send all WordPress emails via SMTP.
• [Checked] Set the return-path to match the From Email
• SMTP Host: smtp.gmail.com
• SMTP Port: 587
• Encryption: Use TLS encryption.
• Authentication: Yes: Use SMTP authentication.
• Username: [email protected]
• Password: <myPassword>

The SMTP debugging output is shown below:
SMTP -> ERROR: Failed to connect to server: Connection timed out (110)

My WordPress Version: 4.0.1
Plugin Version: 0.9.5
PHP Version: 5.4

Hi! I can arrange the access too, if you need. This issue happens here too. I have opened a thread here (didn’t know that issue is this one described here).

Anyway, I have ran some tests. The problem occured with PDF and ZIP(with PDF inside). When I uploaded a .PSD (Photoshop) file, download worked fine!
