Hmmm, it doesn’t seem to be working?

I created a subscriber-level account to test it, started an ad then navigated away before publishing, and the manage ads page still says “You do not have any Ads posted yet.”

(I also want to thank you for your great support – over the weekend I had a very bad experience with another plugin developer who seemed completely disinterested in helping with basic usability issues being reported by multiple users, some of whom had bought hundreds of dollars worth of add-ons and were understandably very upset. The developers who DO offer amazing support and extensive documentation deserve more thanks and recognition, and my WP Adverts experience has been absolutely wonderful!)

I don’t need the status to change necessarily – in the example above I was talking about doing that manually. I had initially changed one from temporary to a regular draft to see if that would make it show up on the manage page, but it didn’t, so I ended up here! ??

I just want to figure out how to make those ad drafts that are being abandoned still be visible on the [adverts_manage] page, instead of only published ads. As long as I can get them to show up if someone comes back later to finish, I should be all set!

Just FYI, I am updating the time on the example linked above to reflect the correct time – I don’t want to leave it published with the wrong time and it’s now been up almost 12 hours, so I can’t wait any longer! But it originally imported saying 5:30 AM rather than 9:30.

Yeah, I could replace JetPack for Infinite Scroll, and then also add a dozen other new plugins to replace the dozen other important features JetPack is providing.

The only workaround I have found is resizing the images smaller files, so that is what I am doing now. It’s an issue I have experienced myself a lot of times on various sites and I’ve noticed affecting other sites that aren’t mine, so I am still curious what is the cause and how it can be resolved or avoided. If anyone else has experienced the same issue and found a fix I would love to hear about it.

I was also recently trying to load background images on another site and had this same issue, and I have experienced it as a reader on other blogs as well. And I had to have another client start cropping his photos smaller prior to upload because he was also getting cut off, garbled images. Sometimes with crazy, trippy technicolor stuff going on.

This shouldn’t have anything to do with the thumbnail cropping – this is an issue with images inserted into a post at full size. With the login info you can see a few pages that are doing it here:

I get a big white space for the bottom part of the image, and where the image cuts off it’s all screwy. Though, as I said before, every once in a while they load fine. It’s only the photos with the largest dimensions that do this – in this case, it is consistently happening with the first image in a post, ones that are optimized for Pinterest so they are fairly tall.

The plugin is definitely not playing nice with the new version of WP. I had to disable it because I was having the same issue – I could only see new posts when logged into WP, and nobody else was seeing them. Had a client FREAK OUT because of it, hardcore. Made for a reeeeeeeally not fun phone call. :-/

Yup, same problem here. I contacted Izea to let them know but apparently they don’t care. Which is no surprise I guess – every time I have dealt with their customer service for any of their sites they have been unhelpful.
