In reply to: [Antispam Bee] Comment Form Accessibility ComplianceActually, it’s not a false positive, the textarea needs an accessible name to pass validation.
There is an easy fix for that.

In reply to: Need help to check the solutions of ticketsHey @ithoninfo,
We discussed this within the accessibility team and we don’t have the time or resources to help you with this. I’m sorry to disappoint you here.

In reply to: Need help to check the solutions of ticketsHey @ithoninfo,
WordPress is a large project, with some complicated accessibility issues.
Some tickets are discussed for many months until we agree on a solution.Rating a solution for greatness or code quality within 3 weeks is not really how we work in an open source community.
We very much appreciate any help we can get on the accessibility issues, but if a solution is good or makes it into core is team work and needs careful consideration.

In reply to: [Genesis Accessible] WCAG 2.0 level AA ComplianceHi @frenchomatic,
Thank you for your feedback.
I agree with you that a WCAG 2 AA valid site is very hard, but I know quite a lot of sites that validate well.
A few questions:
What was the genesis accessibility demo site you tested?
was that genesis-accessible.org?Did you analyse if the errors make sense? Because a colour contrast fail on screen-reader-text and background is not really an issue.
Kind regards,

In reply to: user role@ragnar: maybe you should ask this question in How-To and Troubleshooting since it’s not accessibility related.

In reply to: [WP Accessible Twitter Feed] Fatal errorThanks for testing Mark!
I’m glad the fatal error is gone.My plugin doesn’t add any CSS, so I’m not sure what the problem could be.
If you find the issue, please let me know.
Do you mean Instagram Feed by Smash Balloon? I can have a look if there is a conflict.I will set this topic as resolved for now.

The plugin Genesis Translations got an update and now contains translates strings for the skip links. If you update, it should be working.
