In reply to: elt?nt kinézetHi there! I see that you are using Hostinger hosting provider. There are two options that I suggest looking into:
- Contact Hostinger’s support to help you identify where did the issue happened;
- Look into your backups sections by following the steps right here. Maybe you can restore a website from a certain time it was working well.
Let me know if that helps!

In reply to: WordPress redirect to AppHi there!
If I understood the question correctly, it should be relevantly easy to add a downloadable pop-up for anyone visiting the site and clicking on the desired item. There’s a couple of methods on how you can do that:
- You can use the WordPress functionality for any file type. You can follow the tutorial here. That’s an easy option, though, it will not give a pop-up to confirm.
- You can use a plugin for that. Some good tips can be found here.
Let me know if any of this help, if not, please do provide more context or details so I could help you more.

In reply to: getting error on installationThe mysqli extension missing is quite common issues that relies on the hosting provider you are using. Usually, this extension is enabled by default but if you happen to have switched the PHP versions recently, it might have disabled the extension automatically, I’d suggest searching “how to enable mysqli php extension on X hosting provider“, I’m sure that they will have a tutorial on how to do so!
Hope this clarifies the question!

In reply to: Updating failed. The response is not a valid JSON response. This error is very common. You can read and learn more about it here.
There’s no single answer to what’s causing this error to happen, it might be from plugin/theme conflict to a simple permalink issue. I advise checking the article and overviewing what could be the case.
Hope it helps, good luck!

In reply to: php 8.1, TONS of unserialize and depreciated errorsHi there!
Usually, damaged databases are quite difficult to restore. This will require hands-on and some expertise to analyze the situation fully and see what could be done. I assume that you have cache on the website, and that’s why some content is appearing/disappearing randomly.
I’ve found a similar occurrence right here.
The best option would be to restore. Do you have a database from the time when it was not damaged and was working well? I’d suggest going with the restoration option if possible. If you don’t know how, please contact your hosting provider to get the needed help. Also, you could try this guide, it has some steps that could help you repair the database, though, chances are quite slim.
If you don’t have a working backup and the latter option does not work, you might need to go over some of the other steps, such as
- updating the plugins/themes;
- reinstalling WordPress and starting clean.
Let me know if this helps, good luck!

In reply to: How Do I Delete Based on Keyword Using WP CLI?Hi there!
There are plenty. I’ve found something that might help you out on the WP CLI https://do.that.ee/wp-cli-bulk-delete-woocommerce-products/
It has the possibility to delete the posts according to the category. If that does not suit you and you want more functionality, I’d recommend checking a free plugin https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/bulk-delete/ it comes with a lot of functions, that could be beneficial for setting up recurring deletion of the post and much more.
Let me know if that helps!

In reply to: I can’t update my webpage after the WP updateThis happens quite frequently after WP updates. Why is that? Mainly, WP updates the core files, while your plugins/themes might not be up to date in order t comply with the core file updates. Sometimes it breaks the website, and sometimes it creates issues like yours. There are a couple of methods that can help you have a fully functioning website.
– Downgrading your WordPress. There’s a good in-depth article right here
– Upgrading your themes/plugins. Jump in your WP admin dashboard and update the plugins and themes.I suggest the latter one, if it does not work, proceed with the first option, until your themes/plugin providers update them to comply with the new WP version.

In reply to: Error establishing a database connectionHi there! Error establishing a database connection is a common error on WordPress. Possible solutions does include the incorrect credentials in the WP config file. Though, you could try other solutions as well:
– Database connection is not established due to a permission issue. You can try resetting the permissions of your database at your hosting provider.
– Or repairing the database. This includes a bit more technical knowledge.
In order to troubleshoot and have the resolution, I suggest the above mentioned options, and if that does not help, contacting your hosting provider for more in-depth issue troubleshooting.

In reply to: Site DownHi there, just rechecked the issue. The website is loading indefinitely at least for me, this usually results in possible plugin/theme conflict.
Please attempt to disable all plugins, and use one of the default (Twenty*) themes. If the problem goes away, enable them one by one to identify the source of your troubles.
If you can install plugins, install and activate “Health Check”: https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/health-check/
It will add some additional features under the menu item under Tools > Site Health.
On its troubleshooting tab, you can Enable Troubleshooting Mode. This will disable all plugins, switch to a standard WordPress theme (if available), allow you to turn your plugins on and off and switch between themes, without affecting normal visitors to your site. This allows you to test for various compatibility issues.
There’s a more detailed description about how to use the Health Check plugin and its Troubleshooting Mode at https://make.www.ads-software.com/support/handbook/appendix/troubleshooting-using-the-health-check/`Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: Security token did not matchHi there! The captcha plugin that you’re using might have some configuration issues. Possible solutions that might help you out are suggested below:
Caching issue. If you are using a caching plugin I suggest trying to disable it temporarily on WordPress, and/or clean cache using the plugin on WordPress.
A similar issue has been discussed over here. Hope it helps!
