In reply to: Creating a new menu with dropdown boxes?I managed to find a quick fix for it but I’m sure it’s not the best way.
I marked the unwanted pages from the main header menu as “draft” instead of “published”.
They were removed from the header menu but remained in the side bar.
Just what I needed.Forum: Themes and Templates
In reply to: Creating a new menu with dropdown boxes?Thank you for the response. The reason why I did not want to create the new header menu is because it does not inherent any of the drop down boxes automatically. I can add all the drop down boxes manually but I will be adding 10+ dropdown boxes a week.
Is there a way to keep the header menu I have now but remove 3 or 4 pages from it as they are already displayed on the right sidebar?

In reply to: Creating a new menu with dropdown boxes? The link is here. https://absbilingualschool.com/ABSgradesnews/
As you can see from the site, I have all the pages at the top.
I would like pages ‘Grades 1 – 8’ across the top only. Then I would have other pages on the right hand side.I have tried making a new menu for the top but it did not carry all the drop down boxes with it.
Under each grade, there will be around 32 different drop down boxes. The new menu does not automatically carry them over.Is there a way to remove ‘contact’, ‘Welcome’, ‘Newsletter’ and ‘Events’ from the main header menu but to keep them in the sidebar on the right?
Thanks

In reply to: Creating a new menu with dropdown boxes? It is the theme ‘NewsFrame’ this was an available theme from wordpress. I did not instal it.
Do themes have individual restrictions when it comes to menus? I thought the same restrictions and limits applied to all themes.
