Hello there.
Don’t know if you decided to go with another widget or not—and somehow there aren’t many good ones that don’t load your site up with unnec. scripts—but there was a solution found to your problem on another forum post. Not me.
I did however notice another weird sneaky thing, which I mention in my comment on the plugin page. A default text bit loading a hawaii car rental site.
Anyhows, just a syk. Trying to get better at using support forums.
cheers.

In reply to: [Ultimate Pinterest Display Widget] Best one for Pinterest DisplaySeemed okay, but something weird was happening—I read the support thread started by Susan Langenes and answered by Shellbot; (—thanks for the script solution btw, lady.)
I noticed something strange however after loading the pin it button. An advertisement for a hawaii car rental website (which I removed!) I thought I was missing some default field to fill in but see that nowhere, unless I’m blind. Happens.
$pinterestDisplay .= "<div class='copy' style='color:#ccc; font-size: 9px; '><a href='https://www.hawaiidrive-o.com' title='click here' target='_blank'>hawaii car rental</a></div>"; $pinterestDisplay .= "</div>";
Don’t know if it causes problems, but it’s not cool.
For now, thanks otherwise.

In reply to: How do I disable Mobile Theme in Jetpack 1.8 = broken with ThesisThis is really a confusing way to address the configuration.
Generally I wouldn’t have that to say about the WordPress UI, but this particular approach creates a very awkward UX that is far from obvious.
It should absolutely be moved to the configuration page, or instead of/in addition to the ‘Learn More,’ it should be replaced with ‘Deactivate.’
Hopefully this will be addressed by the Automattic team.

In reply to: [Fullscreen Galleria] [Plugin: Fullscreen Galleria] Linking to PDFI now have the same problem, though I didn’t before the last upgrade. I even made sure it was an editable pdf vs non-editable, in case that caused the change to reading it as an image. I also tried a variety of code that should have worked to force pdf download, but still didn’t.
Unfortunately, I don’t really want to link to my resume download, and I don’t see an old version to roll back to. …Unless there’s something else I’m missing.
