That sounds about right. While using WP to Twitter the “cards” never appeared, but I’ve tweaked a few SEO items since the API collapse so that could be the issue. Let me tinker with it a bit and see if another plugin is causing this. I only have a long running personal blog so really not hungry to go with the PRO version at the moment, but I do work with other WordPress BUSINESS organizations so getting to know what is out there for promotional and marketing purposes is helpful. Thanks for the great plugin and quick reply. I’ll update if I figure it out.
Steven,
I think I’m in the same boat but didn’t realize “why” the slideshows disappeared. Hopefully you or someone will post a solution as I’d love to find a simple way to re-include previously posted slideshows.

In reply to: WordPress 4.5 Translations Won't "Stay" UpdatedI’m having the same issue — after a long “translations update” with an indication that “Translation updated successfully & All updates have been completed” — the Dashboard Updates indicator continues to indicate that a new translation is available. When attempted, the above is repeated again with “updated successfully” results and Groundhog Day all over again.

In reply to: mod_rewrite to correct media urls?.htaccess mod_rewrite may not be the way to go. Any resources for phpMyAdmin “find and replace” that could automate correcting the database urls?

In reply to: [Postie] How can I mark a post as "Private"That’s the trick. Force the email client (Thunderbird in my case) to send the email in “plain text.” Solves a bunch of issues. I’m not rushing to install the development version of Postie … just nice to know the flexibility to post private or public is coming.

In reply to: [Postie] How can I mark a post as "Private"Well looks like I’m going to have to tinker with this a little more as:
1) the default “private” works well but can’t get the
status: publish
orstatus: published
command in the email to work. Seems to just ignore that line which I tried placing above and below thetags: xxxx
line.
2) AS for the html coding, I’ve set the Preferred Text Type to “plain” and have the Allow HTML in Mail Body” to “yes” set … but the all the HTML characters are being published.I’ll dig into it later as I really like this plug-in and am planning to send a donation your way.

In reply to: [Postie] How can I mark a post as "Private"Updated and set the default as “private” … it works great. If I want to post as “public,” can this be done from a command within the email or in the subject line? (probably should read before asking)

In reply to: [Postie] How can I mark a post as "Private"Great news Wayne. Looking forward to being able to post as a private post that can be edited by someone logged in and published after being tweaked. I’m still finding it challenging to “remember” how to include all the text with a photo or adding additional paragraphs. I need a “cheat sheet.”
Sometimes I think it would be simpler to just type in html code IF that was an option.

In reply to: [Postie] How can I mark a post as "Private"I’ve recently installed the Postie plug-in after learning Posterous would be shutting down in April. Posterous was convenient way to code a WordPress article as delayed or mark as private before having it go live with a feed and our normal social networking updates. Writing from a cell phone can be challengin and having another author proof or contribute was helpful before posting. Thanks … I have hope for learning to use this plugin.

In reply to: [Postie] How can I mark a post as "Private"Might just use the delay post feature in the subject line when on an iPhone and then edit posting time and “Private” setting in WordPress once I’m back at a computer. Does this sound like it would work without actually publishing the post?

In reply to: [Postie] How can I mark a post as "Private"Well that’s “somewhat” helpful, but really just want to post a few email Postie posts as private. I was hoping that there was a way to trigger the “Private” setting from the subject line?
Semi update on my issue. So as long as I rebuild the cache (click box) in advanced the proper pages will serve and be cached in each domain. Unfortunately rebuilding the cache isn’t helpful in keeping speeds up so I’m still looking for a better solution.
