In reply to: [GenerateBlocks] Link options for sponsored and nofollowJust a quick follow-up post on the route that I took.
I’m using a plugin called Thirsty Affiliates. This is very useful for all affiliate links and allows you to add any additional ‘rel’ parameters that you want, like ‘sponsored’.
The plugin normally ‘cloaks’ affiliate links but, as you may be aware, this approach is not permitted by Amazon. There is, therefore, an ‘uncloak’ option specifically for scenarios like that.
All in all, it seems to work pretty well.
Richie
PS: Although there is a paid Pro version of the plugin I’m currently using the free version.

In reply to: [GenerateBlocks] Link options for sponsored and nofollowSadly, no, there is a mixture – some have links, and some don’t.
Would it help if I said that they are all Amazon (Associate) links? Would there be a way to write a function for that?

In reply to: [GenerateBlocks] Link options for sponsored and nofollowThanks very much for your response ??
I did know about the option to Edit as HTML. I guess that I was just puzzled as to why the options are available in one place but not in another.
At least you’ve confirmed for me that I’m not missing anything ??
There are probably plugins that provide the options, aren’t there? I’ll take a look.
Thanks again,

In reply to: [Easy Table of Contents] Links and highlighting not working in sidebarHi,
That’s really odd because I’ve just tried the links on a couple of PCs at work, and on my ‘phone, and on my iPad and the links work on all of them!
Do you have something that might be blocking access?
Failing that, when I get home from work this evening I’ll list out the options in text form ??

In reply to: [Easy Table of Contents] Links and highlighting not working in sidebarHi,
I don’t understand why you can’t open the links. In addition to my default Firefox browser, I’ve tried them in Chrome Incognito and in TOR. What are you using?

In reply to: [Easy Table of Contents] Links and highlighting not working in sidebarSure, all of the settings are as follows:
General 1
General 2
Appearance 1
Appearance 2
Advanced 1
Advanced 2I’m sure that you have loads of ‘to do’ enhancements for the plugin but it might be useful to add a feature that records a user’s settings so that they can be easily reported here on the support forum – just a thought ??

In reply to: [Easy Table of Contents] Links and highlighting not working in sidebarHi @magazine3
Thanks for coming back to me.
1. It doesn’t need a video to see the issue. Just go to the website link that I provided and try clicking on any of the links in the Table of Contents (in the right sidebar) – none of them works.
2. OK, great. Thank you.

In reply to: [WP 2FA - Two-factor authentication for WordPress] WP 2FA on two sitesHi @robert681
No problem. 5-star review left (thought I’d done it after using it on the first site but I can’t see it so … apologies for that).
Thanks for the answer – all set up now ??
