Clearing cache & cookies didn’t work. But; post editor works in html mode , not visual (found this out while getting desperate). This PC uses Internet Explorer 9.0.5
Could this be an Explorer issue? I use Firefox and don’t know the ins-outs of Explorer

I’m missing something basic here; I loaded the classic theme thinking it would be simpler to mod but still can’t figure it out. Guess it’s CSS 101 tonight. Learn 3 disciplines at one time; fun.

Definitely it was the 1.7.3 release of xampp. I’ve got everything loaded that I need to do the site crafting.

I went backwards on the xampp revs from 1.7.3 to 1.6.6a and loaded 2.6.3 with no problems.

I pulled the zip copy from the release archive. Tried 2.7 with same type of problems. 2.9 installs fine though. Problem is I want to use EventCalendar3 and it won’t configure after installing on 2.9, at least for me.
