Thanks Syed. I put the code in, but for some reason the pop up that comes in (from Facebook for example) comes above the video, but it is going behind the google ad on the side bar. Any thoughts on that? Try it out for your self and you’ll see what I mean.

Thanks for the email. Why are you guys still using the share button? Facebook is getting rid of the share button and using the like button.

How come if you use the icon + text option it changes from the like button to the share button?

Can you make this use the official facebook like button?

Jon thanks for the heads up. What about the changes with the like button that are coming? Don’t you have to use the xml version for that to work? I believe that is what the digg digg sharer uses (which I’m using here.)

Thanks for the reply. But they are two different like boxes. The digg digg manual placement wouldn’t work in this sitution. If you take a look at a single post you’ll see they “like” different thing.s

One iikes the blog post article, and the other “likes’ the “url / site” as a whole.

Thanks so much for your comment. The only thing I’m using with jetpack is the stats and contact forms. (And that FB like box.) If I deactivate it, the page loads much faster. From google console it looks like the FB plugins are conflicting somewhere, and I”m assuming try to load multiple, unnecessary scripts. I’d really like to find out how to resolve it and get them all to play nice.

I wish I didn’t have to use 3 different fb plug in’s but there isn’t just one that will do what these 3 do. I wish there were. ??

By the way, I am using the lazy load option on the digg digg plug in.

Also on the minfiy seetings, what about the following options:

rewrite url structure?

html/xml – inline css, inline js, don’t minify feed, line break removal. Should I check all/none/or some of those?

Under js setings what should I check?

In js file settings I can select my theme or my child theme theme…but it seems like I would somehow need to select both, unless by selecting my child theme it’s almost pulling the parent theme info..

same questions for css area..

What boxes to check, what to use for import theme, etc…

Do you need a plug in to interact with your CDN if you’re using WT3C? I was under the impression the option was already there to use your CDN.

I”m on a dedicated server, so is there anything I could check myself?

Not sure if there some file somewhere I need to take a look at. I was also having a strange issue where the time on my wordpress would change time zones (not the server time though) and to correct it I would change the time zone in wp settings, than switch it back to the correct one, and press save. Then it was fixed.

Now sure if that is related to my current problem, or what caused that to happen either. It was really strange.
