I agree with wheelyweb. The new version works with WP 3.3.1. Yeah!!! Shadowbox JS is back in action. Now, I just have to replace the old version with the new one on several dozen websites.
The conflict is with the WP Mail Queue plugin. Info here.
There are not many people who are going to use this plugin but since the developer claims that the conflict results from your not using the “action API”, I think it would be worthwhile to check it out and see if you should be using it.
Thanks. It was WP Security Scan by Website Defender that was causing the problem.
I was able to get 2.1.2 working only by deactivating and reactivating about a dozen websites. An additional four websites continued to hang up during the backup process regardless of what I tried. So, I went into Cpanel File Manager and deleted 2.1.2 on the four websites and uploaded 2.0.3. All four of them completed the backup with no problems.
I am having the same problem and this problem:

I am uninstalling the “Custom Login” plugin, on the websites where I have been using it.
