Here’s the final solution for all those are facing speed issues with wordpress 3.3 and above…

Simply add this code in WP-CONFIG.php file…

define('WP_MEMORY_LIMIT', '512M');

You may change the 512M to 1024M or lower(256M/128M) but don’t use higher values like 2048M/4096M, otherwise your website stop working.

I have tested this solution on almost 20+ different hostings and it worked for all.

Hey impulse8, I also had the same issue. But yesterday, I upgraded wordpress 3.3 to 3.3.1 and now its seems much better than previous. wordpress devs team had tried to sort out this issue which everyone has faced from the very first day and released an upgrade for it. You can give it a try, I hope it will help but dont forget to make a full backup before you upgrade your core installation.

Today morning, happily upgraded to wordpress 3.3 but everything changed. Now, my wordpress is dead slow and taking too much time in loading any page. Not only the admin area, it affected my blog also.
3.2.1 version is the much much better than this one.

You didn’t mention, for how long is your website alive. If your website is brand new, then wait for sometime and allow google to index your website.
You can also create your webmasters account in top search engines like google, bing, yahoo and manually submit your website url and sitemap.

So far, getting your website on top in google search results, totally depends on SEO(search engine optimization) of your website. Their is no plugin or shortcut for that. You can published articles enriched with keywords and according to the searching trend.

You can use various plugins which helps you in SEO of your website. These all plugins will helps you in optimizing your website and ranking in top of search engine.
