Please READ THIS before asking (GTM4WP 2020 edition)
-
Hi,
First of all: thanks for using my plugin.
I really appreciate that you are one of my valued users. Before you post a new thread here, please consider the following:
1) Bug report
If you found a bug, it is likely that you do not want to share the details in this public forum to protect other plugins users (especially in a case when you found something serious)In case you want to report a bug, I would suggest to go directly to:
https://gtm4wp.com/contact2) Other support requests
If your question is more about Google Tag Manager and “how should I setup” please note that I can offer free support for those questions very limited. If your question can be answered quickly it is OK however for more complex questions I would prefer if you would ask it on other forums like:
https://support.google.com/tagmanager/community
https://www.reddit.com/r/GoogleTagManager/3) I want to hire you
I am sorry but currently I am not available for hiring. Again, you can find many good professionals in the forums above, I think you will find someone quite quickly.4) “it works if I disable your plugin”
Since GTM4WP adds your GTM container code and inside your GTM container code there can be scripts that interfere with your site as well, I suggest to test this before asking here:– open GTM4WP plugin settings
– save your GTM ID to somewhere safe
– change the ID to GTM-XXXXXX and save the changes
If the issue is still present, it might be related to GTM4WP if not then you need to go through your codes within your GTM containerAnd one more thing
If you are posting a strange behavior on your site that might be related to my plugin, I can not help you if you do not post the address of your website so please post your domain name next to your question.
Many thanks for all of you!
Thomas Geiger
