I think I’ve solved it by going into the WordPress General Settings and changing both the WordPress Address (URL) and the Site Address (URL) to include the “www.”. I can’t seem to reproduce the unresponsiveness anymore so I think it’s solved! Leaving this here in case anyone else has a similar experience.
