1. There is a giant 404 on the page that it lands on, but I don’t quite know enough to know whether this can happen when it is really a 403 or other error?

Thanks for your response. I *truly* appreciate your help even though there isn’t (yet!) a clear answer. It is comforting to know that in these complicated times there are still so many good people going out the business of helping each other through their difficulties–even the small ones like these. I’ll give my host tech support team a call later today and see if I can identify a solution. I’ll come back here and post what I find to help others that may encounter similar challenges.
