Hi Michael,
I tried your steps to add the custom css code. however nothing changed. The ‘house’ icon is still in my menu bar. Do you know why that would be? Would there be another solution? It’s too bad the house icon is there. I’m just happy with the word HOME , to represent my home page.

No, I went back and installed the older version. I also tried to ask the developer if they’d write a quick script that would take all the stats from the old database and move them to the new one. No response.
I do not understand why with the ‘upgraded’ version, they could not have used the same database.
The only other option I could see, to not use my rich stats would be to log into the actual wordpress database, go to each of my pages, starting from the beginning of time and manually put the previous count into the new are on each page, replacing the zero. However, I have 400 pages on my website.
This was not a feature. I pulled myself from being a paid customer, but would go back again if they solved this problem for me and others. Can someone point me to a previous working version, please. I’ve tried searching, but am not able to find it on this site. When I do an internet search, it just keeps bringing me back to this forum, not to a place where I can download any previous versions. Thank you in advance.
Hi,
I tried to do a back up through wordpress. I forget the plugin (I removed it as it didn’t work), a backup/restore plugin.
I tried to back up database only, it hung on the table called: mNZDFN_avc_page_visit_history – due to it’s size.
I had to abort.
I went in through my plesk server admin area, and backed up the database through there, rather than in wordpress. (tried to add an image for you, about the error, but was unable to upload from my computer. Would only accept a url.)- This reply was modified 10 months, 4 weeks ago by ripriprip. Reason: tried to add an image from my computer. didn't work. Only option was to add from a url
I installed that Legacy version.. using the zip file upload method. (I backed up my database just incase, but it was not affected).
My site stats seemed to take a long time to load the first couple times that I tried it, after the activation of “legacy”… It’s working now.
I didn’t have to set up the counter settings, they just appeared as they were before AND all my stats/data are back. I will be sure that auto update is off.
Now it would be awesome if the developers could remember us in the future and help us continue to use this – by creating some type of database import tool or something.
Thank you all who participated here.I’m just crossing my fingers, that in stalling ‘Legacy’ won’t overwrite all my database stats. Working on it now.
I agree with you.
It will look bad, I think for new users.. when they see that the developers have done this to previous users. Maybe people will be afraid that this could happen again in the future and affect them, this way too.I’m going to try to install this. Legacy Plugin

As they won’t be providing updates for it. Unless they provide an import stats/data fix. This will be the last version that I use. So sad. I really liked this plugin, before the upgrade that removed all my page stats.
I just don’t understand why they couldn’t use parts of the original database, or pull from that in the new version.
Thanks for answering.Lastnight, I removed 9.* and tried to install 8.0.3.
It hangs on import data.
Anyone else been able to fix this and get their stats back??Thank you
I have turned off auto renew. I was paying, because I thought this was a great plugin. Now, with all my stats gone with the premium upgrade. I will not purchase again unless support writes code where the upgrades, read from the old database stats.
Can you all tell me, which version did you turn your plugin back to? I have 8.0.3 download. I’m wondering if this is far back enough?
Thank you.I came back to edit this one more time. But the edit button is not showing to me at this time.
I can see that some of my pages have maintained their visit counts. However, this image shows that there are many pages (most). That are showing visits as ‘undefined’. How can I make these pages visit counts show, please.Ok, I found the setting to ‘show’ the results. I didn’t realize I had to set that up again.
I agree. I bought the plugin, because I really like it. But this loss of my data, is hard to take. My site has been running for years (since 2021). I see the page counts, in the dashboard… from before, but they don’t display in the default dashboard page, or on the pages themselves. I’m quite upset actually. If we can get a fix to join the new code to the previous database that would be best, wouldn’t it? Look what I’m missing!
