  • Yeah we have had it happen on multiple sites. Deleting the DB tables or selecting the options to delete on activation an manually removing the files doesn’t seem to work. I see a lot of this problem popping up on the forums, wordfence isn’t being very responsive about it.

Hi Phil, I laid a huge complaint threatening to move of their services and got a phone call from I assume some senior and they found that the your ips were indeed being blocked from their side despite what had been said to me….. Everything iis working perfectly now.

Thanks for looking into this and thanks for a awesome plugin.

    Regards

HI Phil.I know its saturday im a little OCD.Myself not being able to find a resolution is killing me. Just as a update.

I looked at my sites again and it actually seems to stem from one host only. % of their sites in total out of the 19 i have with them are doing this now. I have 24 other sites spread across other hosts and not one is giving me this this hassle

I completely removed and cleared out the wp installation and db installed a default wp site and tried wordfence and still it would not work.

I started looking into curl errors and played around with some luck with the timeout value and set it to 300sec.

I monitored outgoing connections and saw the key it was trying to use. I grabbed this key and tried to pop it into the main dash and verify and then i found something change I dont know how relevant. https://i.imgur.com/2i87dP7.jpg at one stage this was throwing out a curl 7 error…. im not sure what the difference is yet.

Is it possible that my ip is blocked by you guys? Dumb question I know.

My hosting providers after seeing all of this are still saying its not on their side. Quite frankly im really disappointed in their service regarding the issue instead of pointing a finger tell me what to ask how to find out more.

If you do get to runthrough the logs and find that it is the host I dont even know what to say to them about it anymore.

Hope you are having a better weekend than I am.lol

HI there WFPhil. Everything I have read on this topic is quite old and it seemed to die down ie was resolved with solution supplied here or at the host side. My host however is adamant its not them and to be honest i have a few sites not hosted with them that are doing the same thing.

I have sent you diagnostics mails from a broken site and one that is from a working site.

I really appreciate you taking the time to look into this issue especially when it seems everybody else had theirs sorted.
