I tried setting up posting by eMail but for some odd reason i cant do it. Could be bcoz all my mails @mydomain.com come to my primary account. Could you tell me exactly how you set it up/

I copied that to redirect.php file and saved it in my Wp root folder, and when i run it.
I just get this.

What am i doing wrong?

Firstly, Nice decision if you’re thinking to move to WP. I have moved from MT to WP a couple of days back, and have no regrets whatso ever. WP is just beautiful.
The best part of it is No re-building as sushubh points out.
Its very very simple to configure.
Setting up Permalinks was really simple.
You dont need any hack for converting ?? into smilies. All inbuilt.
AND the most important reason of my move was “Disk Usage”. I dont remeber the links but read it in a couple of pages that if you keep blogging for a year or two and when you have over 500 entries, that when you really notice how much Disk space MT uses, coz it physically stores every page, whereas WP stores them int he DB, and builds the pages dynamically.

I just moved from MT to WP, and it was a painless procedure. After having moved, I’m so impressed with WP, that cant think of moving to any other CMS. Since, i am new to this, i have a couple of queries if someone could please help me.
a) I read somewhere, that there is a script/hack which i could use for my URI’s, especially my old links from MT would lead the users to nowhere, so if they could be re-directed in someway.
b) I like posting long posts, so i need the extended entry thinggie like in MT, so the user gets a link saying “Conitue reading”. How can i do this in WP?
Everything else works like a charm. I’m so happy i switched. ??
