Here are the details of my website:

– WP version – 4.2.10
– PHP version – 5.6.26
– MailChimp List Subscriber plugin version – 1.5.3

Facing the same issue as soon as i upgraded the plugin version. Please help.

Hi,

To get rid this of connection problem, I updated the plugin and switched to 1.5.3.
After getting the update, I am able to connect to mailchimp via wordpress admin.
But as soon as I activated this updated plugin, my website became freaking slow. It is taking almost 2-3 minutes to load a page both in admin and front end.
When I renamed/deactivated the plugin from plugins folder, my site regained the actual speed.
Everything was working fine before 10 days, But still I am providing the following information:
– WP version – 4.2.10
– PHP version – 5.6.26
– MailChimp List Subscriber plugin version – 1.5.3
– A list of plugins also installed –
– The name of the theme being used – NetSolution custom theme

Please help me out in this.
