Never mind. I’ve completely deleted the plugin and removed all traces of it from my database and started from scratch

I did a search and replace of the old url’s in my database and that worked successfully. However, the problem still remains.
The url has changed to the current domain, but the link is still broken as the rest of the url is linking to the image at the old date. I tried republishing and it still won’t update nor display og:image height and width etc.
I even tried a completely new featured image and republishing but it won’t update to link to it.
So I disabled Yoast and ran the page through facebook’s debugger where it did load the correct featured image, so definitely still a problem with Yoast.

Yes I do have a caching plugin, I have already tried clearing the cache (both on my site and my browsers cache)

I also managed to do a search and replace with my back-up/migrator plugin UpdraftPlus which fixed the links, however as soon as I edited a post and republished it, the old links came back ??

That is the problem though, its linking to an image that no longer exists and won’t update to the new one despite republishing it.
