So can you say anything about how W3TC’s cache would have suddenly made the SlimStat figures on my visitors drop so low for a week? I have virtually never used the W3TC plug in, and certainly not in the last several months. I only emptied the cache day before yesterday on the off chance that might help.

Are you saying one needs to empty the cache periodically for SlimStat to be accurate? If so, how often?

PS: I’m trying out a few other stats plug-ins now, so I’ll be doing a comparison of SlimStat with other highly rated plug-ins.

Oh, and I don’t have StumbleUpon installed and don’t know why that would have shown up.

Slimstat seems to have recovered today and is reporting a more normal traffic on my site as of today than it has for the past week. I did empty cache yesterday. I did not install any new plugins on or around January 14. I installed a couple of new stats plugins on 1/19, in an effort to find something that might replace Slimstat, as it was so clearly off from other stat reporting (e.g., Google Analytics).

BTW, I tried deleting all the existing pages (and trashing them) and then adding more pages, and the same thing is happening. Nothing shows other than the “Edit This” link.
