Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: Any way to bump up an article in search results after tagging?BCWorkZ, thank you for your response. I don’t understand the purpose of tagging if it doesn’t help users find posts/articles. Why tag anything then?
We have upgraded to Revisionary Pro 2.0.4. This new update addresses compatibility with the Guttenberg block editor and exposes more article attributes that can be edited while “pending approval”, which is all good. However, scheduled publishing is still unusable:
1. I don’t see any method to batch schedule publishing for multiple articles
2. In the simple test I ran (publish this revised article 5 minutes from now), I got a “Missed schedule” error and the article didn’t publish.Kevin, thank you for the quick response and very helpful information! You were absolutely correct. The timezone settings (under Settings > General > Timezone) were not set correctly, resulting in a time set 5 minutes from now to actually be in the past (WordPress displaying “immediately” as a result).
I have confirmed that after configuring the TZ properly, I am able to:
1. Set the scheduled to a future time and have that time appropriately displayed as the “Requested Publish Date”.
2. When reviewing the article, there was a “Schedule Now” button to approve the edits.
3. After clicking “Schedule Now”, the article appeared under “Scheduled Revisions” at the bottom of the page as expected.
4. After the time passes, the article is automatically published. So all working exactly as designed. THANK YOU for resolving this issue fully and quickly!
