In reply to: Dashboard missing images / graphicsHi @stesim! Usually, minor updates happen automatically if your site is capable of one-click updates without entering FTP credentials (source: https://www.ads-software.com/support/article/updating-wordpress/).
On September 8, WordPress v5.8.1 was released. Maybe that is the update your host was referencing?

In reply to: Code fix – disappearing contentHi @samysalah2017! Thanks for your question! It looks like Listeo is a commercial theme. I would recommend you visit the developer’s official support channel. In order to be good stewards of the WordPress community, and encourage innovation and progress, we feel it’s important to direct people to those official locations.

Forum volunteers are also not given access to commercial products, which makes it difficult to help troubleshoot the theme. This is one other reason why we recommend you to the commercial product’s vendors. Good luck!

In reply to: Dashboard missing images / graphicsHi @stesim. Try manually resetting your plugins (no Dashboard access required). If that resolves the issue, reactivate each one individually until you find the cause.
If that does not resolve the issue, access your server via SFTP or FTP, or a file manager in your hosting account’s control panel (consult your hosting provider’s documentation for specifics on these), navigate to /wp-content/themes/ and rename the directory of your currently active theme. This will force the default theme to activate and hopefully rule-out a theme-specific issue (theme functions can interfere like plugins).`

In reply to: Could I create a trading & selling marketplace?Hi @livingcminca! I am also having trouble finding a trading-based plugin in the directory. I think your best bet is to reach out to the eCommerce plugins’ support forums that you mentioned to see if they have any suggestions on how to accomplish this.

In reply to: Block editor missingHi @wendyhuang! Just to make sure – is this question related to a WordPress.com site? If it is you will want to head over to WordPress.com support: https://wordpress.com/support/
My understanding is that the classic editor needs to be enabled after WordPress 5+. So that means you need to find where it is coming from.
I would start by making sure WordPress is up to date and that you have a backup: https://www.ads-software.com/support/article/updating-wordpress/
Are you using a child theme so that you do not lose your customizations?If you go to your list of plugins, do you have the “Classic Editor” plugin? If it is there, disable it.

In reply to: youtube videos and most images not loadingHi @alextachi! I am glad you were able to narrow it down to the theme and I can totally understand not wanting to change it. I would recommend reaching out to the developers and support community for the theme to see if they have any specific advice. Since it has only been for about a month, maybe it was an update causing the conflict?
It looks like you are using the Zeen theme. Commercial themes are not supported through the core support directory so you will need to reach out to the theme’s support community directly.

In reply to: youtube videos and most images not loadingHi @alextachi! I wonder if it is a conflict with a theme or plugin. You can try temporarily deactivating all plugins and going to one of the default (Twenty*) themes. If that resolves the issue, you can turn everything back on one by one to identify the culprit. You can also use the Health Check plugin so that it does not impact visitors to your site.
Did you use the YouTube embed block to add the content to your site?
Hi @eaboutboul. I wonder if this is a conflict with any theme that you are using?
You can also use CSS to style the <figure> and <figcaption>.
Here’s an example:figure { border: 1px #cccccc solid; padding: 4px; margin: auto; } figcaption { background-color: black; color: white; font-style: italic; padding: 2px; text-align: center; }
