In reply to: [Contact Form 7] Cannot submit contact form – it just keeps spinningUpdate:
First, I made a mistake: my theme is Origami. It is created by SiteOrigin.I have updated to the latest versions of all the plugins and theme. Now I just keep getting an error message: “There was an error trying to send your message. Please try again later.”
What could be the reason for this?
Thanks.

It will automatically do that?

In reply to: [Lightbox] how do you use this plug in???Thank you, but I did that.
I get stuck at this part:
“It will work automatically when you click on ‘content images’.”
Where is ‘content images’?
I am using 2012 theme on WP 3.73…there is no ‘content images’ button…Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Display Widgets] why is my post in middle of page?Chris,
Thanks. Excuse my ignorance, but where would I find the div tag for the primary content? Would it be in the css?
Thanks again.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Display Widgets] why is my post in middle of page?Chris,
Thanks for the response.
If I remove the Dad Bloggers widget, the post still appears under the subscribe widget.
It seems that anything placed on the side knocks the post under it.Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: Posts all the way down on the pageAgain, thanks for responses.
Engage–That’s the problem: I built the site! And I am an amateur with limited knowledge of CSS and HTML.
Alchymyth–I really have limited knowledge of PHP and HTML, so I just activated the plug-in, and that was it. I could post the contents of single.php or function.php, but I don’t want to take up any space here. I’d be willing to pay for someone to fix or explain it to me how to fix. Feel free to shoot me an email at rlebowitz AT yahoo.com.
Really, thanks again,

In reply to: Posts all the way down on the pageHi Mitch and Engage,
Thanks for your replies.Mitch–I tried the validator but there are 21 errors, and I do not know enough code to get through them.
Engage–This might be true. I am using Display widgets to get the side content there. Any suggestions on what to fix first? Or should I contact the plug-in developers?
Thanks again,
RobertSame problem I have. Any resolution?

In reply to: I lost my blog home page!OK, I got the blog posts back!
I guess I had corrupted the index.php file.
Once I replaced it with the original file it came back.Thank you Clayton for indirectly giving me the idea.

In reply to: I lost my blog home page! Thanks again.
The deactivation of the plugins didn’t do it. But you gave me an idea. Maybe it’s one of the files in my child theme? I added a couple files.
I’ll give it a try.But can you tell me (if you are still here!) how I would refresh the permalinks?
Thank you again.
