The problem is still a problem. ?? I’m getting one report that’s correct and one that’s all wrong. The wrong one shows that all of my plugins are out of date when they’re actually all current. It also shows no incidents during the previous week — I wish that was true.
I’m planning to find some time during off hours and rename the duplicate directories:
/www/wp-content/plugins/wordfence/
/www/wp-content/plugins/wordfence/vendor/wordfence/
to see if that fixes the problem and doesn’t break my site.Hi Steve. Per my email on 6/14, I only have 1 database. I ran a search for “wordfence” and see 4 matching directories:
/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wordfence/
/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wordfence/vendor/wordfence/
/www/wp-content/plugins/wordfence/
/www/wp-content/plugins/wordfence/vendor/wordfence/The latter two appear to be aliases of the first 2.
Thanks, Steven. I’m on the current version of WP and all my plug-ins are up-to-date. I’ll email you.

In reply to: [Database Backup for WordPress] Scheduled backup not workingI have the same problem. On-demand backups work fine, whether I download or email the output. Scheduled backups no longer produce output (they used to work). I’m using the same table selections for both on-demand and scheduled backups.
The new version made my site unusable on mobile devices. It would just show a random blog post with no site navigation. I gave up and reverted to the previous version.

In reply to: [Acunetix WP Security] Updating plugin to version 4.0.3Last night my site started taking several minutes to load and all pages reported a 404 error. I disabled all plugins and the site came back up. I enabled only Acunetix WP Security and my content disappeared again. I enabled all plugins except Acunetix WP Security and the site works fine, so Acunetix is definitely the culprit. Disabling and re-enabling the plugin doesn’t help.
Version 4.0.3 has been running fine for months.

In reply to: [Twitter Widget Pro] Change entry font-size?Thanks Aaron. I think you could leave the CSS as it is but adopt the changes she’s posted that run from
if ( empty( $args[‘title’] ) )
to
return $widgetContent;
}
(lines 868 – 987 in the current version). Then users can modify the CSS file as they like. The output looks great using her method, but I have to redo the changes after every update (the CSS file hasn’t been affected).Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Twitter Widget Pro] Change entry font-size?This site has instructions on how to change the fonts and font size. It makes the results vastly more readable. Unfortunately it’s a manual fix and the first part has to be redone every time the widget gets updated (the CSS changes only need to be done once — at least so far). https://www.geekinheels.com/2012/02/16/bloggy-thursdays-customizing-the-twitter-widget-pro-plugin.html
Aaron — it would be great if you’d incorporate something like this into the widget.

In reply to: Page goes blank when 1 line is addedDear esmi,
I did try switching themes. I hadn’t tried resetting the plugins folder. However, my web host seems to have found the problem. They disabled suhosin on my account and the problem instantly vanished.

In reply to: How do I comment out HTML codeNo reply from WP (or anyone else on this). I finally found the Foliovision editor plugin, which seems to do the trick:
