Thank you for the prompt reply, Themeisle!
I think you are correct as I have another installation of WordPress running PHP 5.3 on which 3.1.7 is no problem. The other system where I had the problem is running 5.2.17. Too old I know. Time to update that server.
Hey Daniel — Pardon the delay in reply. Thank you so much for sorting this out!
The update to 1.4.1 fixed my problem. Thanks.

In reply to: [Beaver Builder - WordPress Page Builder] Custom Menu WordPress Widget BuggyHi Ben! Thanks for replying.
I’ve made this 2 minute MP4 video demonstrating the problem. It seems to only happen with certain menus.
[video src="https://proqcna.proqc.com/beaver-builder-custom-menu-problem-01.mp4" /]
That page in the demo is here: https://proqcna.proqc.com/page-template-2
Thanks for any thoughts.

@rmmcclay – So the shift occurs due to the overlay scrollbar replacing the document scrollbar?
Exactly. You can see the effect happening on the OP’s site here:
https://www.escapilade.frPay attention to the scrollbar when you close the popup. In his case only the background image shifts, in my case the entire design shifts.
You can open the pop on the OP’s site by clicking on the orange Plus d’informations button to see it all happen again.
Thanks so much for your over-the-top support!
Please disregard my previous comment. The PHP shortcode method works just fine.
I thought I could do something like this in my theme php files (such as footer.php). But it this doesn’t work at all.
<?php echo do_shortcode(‘[popup_trigger id=”383″ tag=”button”]Button Text[/popup_trigger]’);?>
Disabling overlay fixed shift to the right problem.

In reply to: [Max Mega Menu] In There A Linked-In Icon In The Free VersionVery good. That ticket is two years old.
I’m seeing the same “shift to the right of about 5 pixels” using the Tesseract 2 theme. But I can see the reason is that the page scrollbar on the right of the browser window changes: the scroll handle disappears, but the bar is still there. The shift occurs both in Firefox and Chrome, that’s all I’ve tested it on.

In reply to: Drafts not auto saving?I’ve been having problems with Saving Drafts since 2.5. The only workaround I’ve found is to first save the post as Private. Which is not very nice.
With regard to 2.7, if I start a post, after a few moments I see “Saving Draft…” at the bottom right of the new post input form. It just stays that way. The Publish button periodically goes from grey to blue. Obviously Word Press is trying to save the Draft, but it is failing for some unknown reason.
If I click to Save Draft, I’m sent to the list of posts. The draft is gone. Yay! That’s behavior been true since v2.5. And in spite of several posts here about this problem to the forums over the months, I’ve never seen any reply.

In reply to: Visual Editor not working after upgrading to WP 2.6.1I had this problem, the Visual/HTML tabs were missing and the editor was stuck in Visual. I went into my user profile and unchecked the Use the visual editor when writing checkbox. And then it started working again. So I suggest trying to either check it or uncheck it and see if that does anything.
