  • Is there something inherently different with nginx? I too am hosted on nginx and auth headers are supported. Can’t get this plugin to work, but I’m not certain it’s due exclusively to nginx.

    I can’t access wp-admin/admin.php?page=freemius. I wonder if this is related to permissions issues with my host provider, WP VIP. In fact, I wonder if the entire ability for foogallery to run at all is to do with VIP.

    I’m also getting errors:

    Fatal error: Uncaught TypeError: Argument 1 passed to Freemius::get_api_user_scope_by_user() must be an instance of FS_User, bool given, called in /var/www/wp-content/plugins/foogallery/freemius/includes/class-freemius.php on line 19353 and defined in /var/www/wp-content/plugins/foogallery/freemius/includes/class-freemius.php:19367

    I have no choice but to uninstall by request of VIP, as their logs are being flooded.

    They also recommend I use this:

    But I am unfamiliar with freemius and would need a full understanding of what is going on before messing with this for a mission critical site in my organization. Unfortunately, it’s easier for us to just drop FooGalery and go elsewhere… but I’m really bummed about that as there are features you guys have that I’d really like to put in place.
