First I am sorry to tell you that I mixed up the IE versions, it is before IE9 that the problem occurs, or in IE9 or newer in compability mode, so it might not be a big problem anyways, but in case you still want to have a look at it:

I have put a couple of screenshots up, the first one is the menu the way it looks in IE9 or newer and other browsers.
