Hi again. Ok we ran on staging and changed the theme from flatsome plus a child theme to 2023 and the issue went away. So it appears that your plugin has a conflict with the theme / child theme we are using. Good to work that out. How do we proceed from here?

I cannot do it on my site as it runs a lot of plugins and is a very busy ecommerce store so simply deactivating everything and changing the theme is simply not practical. I will see if I can do it on a staging and let you know.

You can ignore this I have resolved the issue myself.

For feedback I would say this is a very significant issue affecting pretty much every woocommerce store and has significant potential to tank SEO for wordpress stores ?? I hope that assists with the priortisation!

Wondering if there is an ETA on this as it is now hitting nearly 1000 of my 4000 products and seems to be unresolvable.

I suggest that you look how the webtoffee version works. We are now using that as your plugin simply does not function correctly on many many levels. That version delivers like all other payment gateways we offer informed responses to customers. Websites do not want to messing around changing code you need to supply out of the box solutions that work and are intuitive to customer needs. Since we moved to webtoffee we have seen over 100% increase in paypal payments which is over $1000 a day. Your solution is not intuitive to customers needs is constantly buggy 9 months down the line and reduces sales. That’s our experience with it as a high volume ecommerce store.

I should add that we have now deactivated this plugin and reactivated the previous paypal now retired plugin. We add exactly the same items to cart that give the above error and use the old plugin and everything works seamlessly. The new plugin remains unfit for purpose.

Still having issues. Customers are calling us saying that they have completed the whole form and we have even turned off agree to terms and conditions and it will not process saying missing form fields. They pay by credit card not paypal works fine. When is this bug going to be rectified and implemented so that it actually does what it should do. i.e. take a payment????

The update does not appear to have resolved the issue. if you select paypal and have not agreed to the terms and conditions it states please fill in the unfilled in fields” or something like that. What it should state ( which other payment gateways do ) is ” please agree to the terms and conditions”. Your plugin leaves it up to the user to go through every single form field they have completed to work out where they went wrong and is not intuitive. When is this going to be fixed. yet more poor implementation.

Cheers Ross. I did notice this and they are actually coming from Humm I think. I have sent copies to the Humm Dev team. No doubt they will blame anyone but themselves as usual. It only happens now and again.

In addition it is then possible for a customer to check out without agreeing to terms and conditions. This puts a legal responsibility on you as the plugin developer to then be liable for any customer issues that occur without customers agreeing to terms and conditions. Terrible.
