Yes I had this exact problem and, despite the issue being labelled as “solved”, I still have the issue.

There was some interaction with the publishers of the plugin DotonPaper, where they asked for my FTP details etc to attempt to solve the issue, but for whatever reason they were unable to do so, so the issue remains.

I would really love to see it fixed though so please let me know if you have any progress or are able to implement a workaround.

Please ignore the above request. I’ve now resolved this.

PayPal Sandbox features was checked (I don’t remember checking it!) where it should not have been.

To make doubly sure, I deleted the API, generated a new one and re-entered the details in to the plugin.

All working again now.

Okely Dokely… I’d be the first to admit that it’s more than likely I’m missing something! But, as I said initially, I wouldn’t be suprised if NamesCo, mein host, are blocking something as I had to manually edit the xmlrpc to allow my iphone to logon to the WP app (see here)

OK. Done that.

Cant see any change in my dashboard to tell me multisite has gone away – because it never enabled in the first place!

So… I still cant add a new user. That being my original problem.

Once again, just to be as clear as I think it’s possible to be, I want to add a new user to my one existing site. I can’t do that. I ONLY have the option in my dashboard to add an existing user.

The question, my only question is how do I add a new user?!

That’s it.

The problem of not being able to add additional userts existed before multisite was enabled.

In fact, multisite was enabled in an attempt to solve the problem.

However, I’ll have a read of that and see where that takes me. Back to Square 1 quite possibly!

Right, the reason I’ve posted in Multisite help is that I was directed to do so after originally posting in general help <sigh>

So anyway, that aside, my (by all accounts very basic) problem remains – I cannot add a new user!

My ONLY option when I go to do this is to “add existing user” and as there are none other than me that doesn’t work.

Soooooo…. Back to my original question, why can’t I add a new user?!
