In reply to: [Enhanced Category Pages] All Enhanced category Content Not ShowingSorry,
I meant to say this ‘viewing of sub-categories within categories page’ needs to be on the site (using usual featured image post style of theme).
Not in the back-end of WordPress editing.
I need a page, live on my site that shows featured images of sub-categories within a parent category.
I cannot do this by calling my sub-categories as posts as they will not then link like a category page further.
Thanks.

In reply to: [Enhanced Category Pages] All Enhanced category Content Not ShowingHi there,
Many thanks, however it still doesn’t seem to work.
I added a file called: content-ecp.php
I pasted the exact code as above in your post but what happens is when I add a category within another category (sub-category) the ‘featured’ images shown are the posts within the sub categories, not the featured images of the sub categories themselves, which is what I need.
Does this make sense?
Thanks

In reply to: [Hitchcock] Choose which posts appear on the homepageHey,
Yes and no.
Certainly nobody has answered so far. However, I haven’t completely solved it, but have a ‘get round’. Within the post created, in the top right corner of the edit post screen you have a few options. You can click on ‘sticky’. This means this particular post will always stay first on the homepage. Whichever posts you do this to will always stay on your homepage at the top. You can also limit the amount of posts visible on your homepage at any time within the ‘settings’ part of word press. Eg. If you set to 8, it will layout the 8 + any ‘sticky’ posts. I want 9 (3×3 square layout) on mine. After the 9 visible, small arrow navigation appears at the bottom to flick through the rest of the posts. (Rather than all scrolling downwards, which is what would happen if you didn’t limit the homepage number of posts.
Only other thing is if you make a post ‘sticky’ it will say ‘sticky’ on it, both on the roll-over link on your homepage and on the post page itself. I did not want this so then had to go into the CSS to stop it automatically doing this.
Hope this all helps.
