In reply to: [W3 Total Cache] Rackspace CDN support at multiple DC'sThis is still an issue. Ran into it yet again and can reproduce it on demand. Has anyone else seen this issue? Is it a known issue that is being worked on?

In reply to: Where are upload files stored?Ipstenu, any way around site ID 1 going to uploads. I’d like it in blogs.dir so I can take advantage of the auto-redirecting to /files/ but can’t figure out how to get site 1 to do it.
Yeah, it is Frederick. Thanks again.

In reply to: [Pirate Day] Pirate Day with BuddyPressI manually placed it in the header before </head> and it looks like it is trying to work. It will replace some words, but not many. I think it might just be an issue with the “pirate” dictionary not having alternate words. Thanks for the response!
Thanks Frederick. After some more digging, it appears an htaccess file worked its way into my uploads folder somewhere along the way.

In reply to: [Pirate Day] Pirate Day with BuddyPressI tried it on the site again and it still does not work with BuddyPress and is still having issues when it reqrites the screen screwing up some CSS and some flash stuff. the site is crash dot coop but the plugin is turned off again. I tried it on my own site and the css appeared to be fine but the flash slider on the homepage stopped working as well as WP-Cumulus.

In reply to: Looking for way to encrypt and securley share filesI posed a similar topic over on the Buddypress forums. I was thinking about some type of replacement for a secure messaging gateway, but so far I’ve just tested a few different things. I’m close with a combination of plugins: private files, wordpress download manager and either absolute privacy or private wp.
I’n not sure about encrypting when the file hits the server but the private sharing of files could be pretty close with some type plugin combos.

In reply to: [Plugin: WP Smush.it] Not Smushing it!I’m running V 1.2.8 and having the same “must be within the content directory” on a linux shared machine. I have moved the uploads directory from wp-content/uploads to media. Does WP-SmushIT recognizing content directories that have moved using the Misc tab under Settings?
