See my review…I had to remove it as well – was getting “bad” traffic, 100% bounce rates and all the referrers were from Simplesharebutton servers!
I only had the thing running for a few days…I removed it months ago and I’m still getting referred by them….I’ve had to blacklist them and install several security plugins – and STILL getting them.
They claim there’s no “hot linking” or “tracking” …and it won’t slow your site down…yet it seems it’s all just the exact opposite.
FYI – update:
Just moved a copy to my in-house WAMP server – 512mb memory – and I’m having the same problem.
And, I’m running another test site on that same server with over 70,000 WP posts (not custom post types) with no issues at all.

In reply to: delete plugin requiring "connection information"?I have a backup of my production site – but not this site – which was shortsighted…
Okay Bernbe I appreciate all your help!!!
Going to close this up as it’s looking like a corruption of something somewhere…or I’m just dealing with too many issues for one forum question ??

In reply to: delete plugin requiring "connection information"?Well – that didn’t work! lol
I do the re-install, under the update screen, enter my ftp
credentials – and I get a blank screen. Only the top bar and the
left sidebar show up.Is there a way to downgrade to the previous version of WordPress?
This particular site is a testing site…so I don’t care if things
go missing…although it would be good to be able to do a downgrade
without losing stuff!Forum: Fixing WordPress

In reply to: delete plugin requiring "connection information"?Hey bernbe – sorry, had to run out for a bit….good question about resetting the featured image manually…I’ll try.
That particular output stream error is when using WPAllImport, and uploading a .csv file – one that worked hours before.
Then I tried it on another site, same error using any .csv file. Then I tried another importer – CSVImporter – same error.

In reply to: delete plugin requiring "connection information"?Here’s one error from the log of a plugin:- WARNING: File
https://a3.mzstatic.com/us/r30/Purple3/v4/89/2e/72/892e72ad-0b3b-04c2-d6b6-70e534398ccc/screen480x480.jpeg is not a valid image and cannot be set as featured one
The other simply states: Failed to open output stream.
Also, this is happening on two sites of mine.

In reply to: delete plugin requiring "connection information"?Yes.
And some other strange stuff as well:
Getting errors uploading data – “Failed to open output stream”
And, in certain automated feeds, I’mm getting errors about url’s to jpegs,
for articles, not being valid – even though the url’s work perfectly. All these things started at the same time yesterday…and I believe
they all started after the upgrade to 4.1.1.Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: delete plugin requiring "connection information"?Actually, that didn’t fix the problem…lol

In reply to: delete plugin requiring "connection information"?Hi Bernbe,
All my folders were set to 705.Any ideas how that happened? It seems that the automatic upgrade to 4.1.1 did it as everything worked fine before that.
Thanks for your help!

In reply to: [App Store Assistant] Select or add multiple posts at one time?Trying to find my own answer – which rarely works ?? – and I was thinking…if I had a .csv file of all the app ID numbers that I wanted to create posts for, from the iTunes store, would there be a way to import those and auto-create posts for all of them?
I know I can take them one at a time, do the search, and then click the button to create a post – but is there a way to automate that whole process and input a .csv of app ids?
Thanks for any help!!!
