Solution that worked for me: deactivate A5 Custom Login Page plugin and google maps began to work.

I’m facing the same problem, also running 3.9.1 on WP 4.1. In previous version google maps appears, didn’t install new plugins and no changes into settings are made.

This is the code i’m using to call the javascript function:

And the ‘onclick=”function;”‘ is the code that disappear when i update the page.

I forget to explain one important thing, i use your plugin inside another, wp-ui tabs and accordions. My page has an accordion with 4 tabs, each tab has its own slideshow gallery. It seems that there’s an incompatibility between those plugins . I’m going to publish this problem in the wp-ui plugin support web also.

Please check your css code or your theme. Something is changing the display style to “none”. That’s because your gallery is not displayed.

Found it.
When you insert a new tippy, use the class attribute, for example:

[tippy title=”your title” class=”your class name”

Then, in your custom CSS, use this class to add the image you want:

.tippy_tip.domTip_Tip.”your class name”_tip .tippy_header {
background: url(“here goes your url image”) no-repeat center left;
}
