THis is what I was told this morning and it worked

If you access your file structure via FTP or cPanel file manager, then navigate to wp-content/themes/ and delete the ‘virtue’ folder, WP should default back to its original theme and allow you to login/download the theme again.
Alternatively if you have a backup of the theme files on your computer, all you need to do is upload the framework.php back in to wp-content/themes/virtue/themeoptions – This in theory should also fix it.

no you must leave something, it should have only been the theme that was used.

if you delete the theme you were using it should go to a default scheme, then reload your scheme all tweaks will be there just go to put them back in the right place

can you get in now

all I did was to go and and right hand mouse and delete my theme, there should be no reason why it wont delete, how are you getting to it, via Cpanel or FTP

Probably same prob as me I have fixed mine with help, go into your files via cpanel on your host or ftp and delete the theme you were using, it should then start up on a default theme. If your in the UK ill give you a number to call me, or you can find it https://www.robin-cook.co.uk

I have just updated and cant get into admin any more and some pages don’t load, not sure where to go, https://www.robin-cook.co.uk

Everything is fine on settings, the backup works well but after a while it dispersers from plugin list but is there when I look at FTP plugins

No, but it does seem to occur when I download a new plugin, I downloaded W3 Cache onto the plugins it was after this I found that backup had gone from the list

no I have just checked it is in the root directory, I have four different sites where I have installed this plugin, on two of them it disappears from the plugin list in wordpress, but if you look at the ftp in plugins the directory and files are still there

Thank you all for your help, it was the plugin Easing Slider Lite which I use for the opening screens, once disabled all worked fine, am onto author now. Well done Volunteer Mod.
