  • This issue often creeps up when moving WP directories. This is usually a cookie issue. Clear out the cookies for the site you are working on. This will log you out. Log in and you should once again see your address bar.

You might also want to check Users > Edit to be sure that “Show Toolbar when viewing site” is checked.

Happy to help. I am sure there will be a patch rather quickly.

If you do have to disable Jetpack, be sure to check for tools that you were using which will now fail. The most common public facing tool is likely the contact form(s). If you embedded via a short code, that is all your visitor will see, and of course the form will no longer exist.

There are plenty of stand alone contact form plugins that you can use as a replacement.

    Best of luck.

    fouldsy99,

This is usually caused by script conflict. I would suggest that you consider the plugins that you recently installed, or recently updated.

Jetpack appears to be the culprit due to a recent update. There is a lot of money being lost by many and I am sure that Google is seeing this.

Try disabling Jetpack and my hunch is that things will reappear.

    Good luck.

Jetpack is causing conflict with a number of Adsense plugins for me as well. Multiple Adsense plugins experiencing the same issue.

When I disable the function for a plugin to limit the number of ads to 3 (per Adsense terms) the plugin works, but shows excess ads (breaking Adsense terms).

My hunch is that there is some sort of naming conflict with Adsense ad counting and the Jetpack update.

I just installed your plugin. Appears to make things simple. However, I am having trouble that appears to do with a path setting that I can’t locate.

    Take a look at https://www.wnyhandyman.com

You will see that there is a 404 where the ads should appear. Other plugins work fine, which would lead me to believe that the path information is correct. However, I am at a loss with this issue.

    Any ideas? Thanks much.
