  • HI adventures44,
First things, first – are you using the child theme that came with the Capri theme? You need to do that. Don’t use the parent theme.

since you are not strong with coding, I would suggest contacting the developer again. Be overly specific about what you need, they can help; I used the same theme, and I was given an instructional video on how to solve a problem I was having with the Capri theme.

Make sure when you submit a ticket, do it privately, and give them your login credentials. I did that, and they were very helpful. I have found out that the themes you pay for usually come with good customer service – in my experiences. They got back to me in 24 hours and solved my issue.

    And there is also this.

I am having the same issues as well. The page builder is NOT appearing in the dashboard. I’m also running a fresh install of WP.

    thanks!

thanks, mrjhon01 and alchymyth for replying. Seriously – THANK YOU FOR REPLYING!

Where may I find the title for the posts page, alchymyth? and yes, I did try editing my content.php, and edit the CSS.

    here is my content.php:

    hi frednat –

could you post a link to your gallery? I could help you if you did that so I could look at the site.

in a nutshell, i did keep importing the metadata for each individual images, as well as a global import of the gallery; i even deleted images and uploaded them again, and that would work. I had to clear the cache every time I did that. i installed a WP Super Cache plugin.

what i had to do as well is limit the amount of pages in the theme (i used twentytwelve I made into a child theme before starting the site). some themes are clunky with a lot of pages, especially one so gallery heavy like mine – i had 87 pages at one point! so now that the client weeded these down to a manageable amount, the galleries started working better.

however, even after i did all the above, i would sometimes get the “division by zero” prompt again. my final solution (and one that is still working well) was to BUY the NextGen Gallery Plus Gallery, and use it in conjunction with the free plugin NextGen Gallery. And, their customer service is super quick! i had a couple questions, sent an email, and they emailed me back in less than an hour. THIS alone was worth the $39. i spent on the Gallery Plus!

    check out the info here.

please let me know if any of this helps you. i hope it does. i KNOW how frustrating it was to deal with this and figure it out!!

I did have this in a table format, at first, however it didn’t work with my responsive theme.

And this page has the elements centered, not sure why I cannot accomplish the same thing with the page I am having issues with.

    Okay. Thanks for the feedback.

But now that I need to have the page look like this, what is the best way to go about this? How is the html of the page all screwed up.

Again, any and all your help is appreciated.

    thanks!

I am thinking eliminating the dropdowns all together, as well as having an edit to the width in the CSS could at least minimize the mess this will create. I think the sidebars are a great idea as well.

thank you Adrian – I think I will go with your advice and search for another theme for this website. Rather resolve this issue now, then have it get even more chaotic! I appreciate your feedback and help!! You resolved this for me!

    HI Adrian –
sorry for not making myself more clear. I did want a responsive site, however, I was hoping to have a site to mimic the desktop version. hopefully the link below works; as you can see the galleries are NOT responsive, the everything visually shifts to the left with the menus.

here is the link again: https://felicekoenig.com/

not sure why the link is broken in my first post.

what responsive plugins are you speaking about? could you please point me in the proper direction so I may resolve this?

thank you again – I really need the assistance!
