Hmm…..upon further investigation, the issue only seems to affect clones sites. This is a multisite network. I’ll get with WPMU Dev since I’m using their cloner plugin to clone subsites in the network.

I’m not having the problem anymore but I don’t recall what I did to fix it. I must have ran velvet blue url replace to force change all http to https (I think but it was a long time ago)

The problem seemed to go away when I toggles off something in the plugin settings to force http to admin (or something like that), but I’m not logged in to the site to check now. I’m just on my phone.

I got this this back from Modern Tribe about this issue:

It could be that is not a main query as defined by WordPress and just a custom loop. If you change to another theme like Twenty Fourteen to events show then?

I changed themes and it did work, just like they said. I’m waiting for the best way to resolve this now, and I’m sending a support ticket in to the dev of the theme I am using. What theme are you using?

Well I had the plugin configure a certain way and the speed was much better. Then I saw the button in the dashboard that enabling edge mode can help, so I did that, and immediately I noticed the site slower by about 1.5 seconds. I cleared cookies, cleared w3t cache on different browsers on different computers and the results were all the same. Slower.

The only thing I did different was enable edge mode. So is there anyway to disable it?

On this page the Printer Information Request Form is in a sticky div I made with this plugin.

For the push up element, I entered #footer (which I identified with firebug).

But the footer is not pushing the sticky div up.

Please advise how to get this working correctly.

I got it working. Strange, but I deactivated this plugin, tried another one that also didn’t work. Then I deactivated that one and reactivate this one. And then it was working normally……smh

Ah. That look like it will work, but where do I find the file with that code in it to edit? Or should I just add it to my child theme’s functions.php file?

Or perhaps, since this is actually a woocommerce site, I should ask Woo where to find that?

It is set to heiarchical, but I would like to show a drop down of my Speakers taxonomy in the sidebar like the native category dropdown available in wp. How can I do that?
