Thank you. All I did to get the different categories side by side was to create multiple loops and edit each query_post function like this query_posts('category_name=news&showposts=10');
Then just use css to position them.

Newest post first seems a bit odd to me. But then I am a bit odd.

Hi people and thanks for the welcome and positive comments. I had a look at my site today from work on ie 6 win… what a mess hopefuly i’ve sorted out most on the issues. Also found that one of my images was being looked for on my local machine (schoolboy error)
