My slide show on my static home page, which worked beautifully until recently when I was hacked, has disappeared. All the editor says is [meteor-slideshow] Note – the hack involved sending mobile users to a porn site, and that code has been removed at my host site.

My plug ins page claims that I have no plug ins installed. So I went to the WordPress plug ins site, searched Meteor Slide Show and tried to install it again. The download failed with this error message:

    Destination folder already exists. /home/content/67/11699267/html/wp-content/plugins/meteor-slides/

    Plugin install failed.

But I don’t know where to find that destination folder or how to start my slide show again.

Please assume I am an idiot and take me step-by-step. All the prior questions jump from “I have a problem” to “I see your slideshow”, with none of the fixes written out.

    Thank you.
