I loaded a tester wp set-up to test a new theme, using the new upgrade for wp and it was working fine…then suddenly blank page. Deactivated the 1 plugin I had and still nothing…

Any other ideas…so frustrating!

Unfortunately, I needed that admin notification email to save the custom field info I had the new subscriber punch in.
Does this go into a database somewhere??

Same here…cannot get it to send verification emails from the registration. It will send lost password emails, admin verified emails to the registered email, just not the verification.

As a side note: Does anyone know where in the code or style sheets I would change to have the lost password or admin verified emails sent from my address instead of “WordPress”?

I am having this same problem…cannot get it to send verification emails out. Sends admin email to say that a new user has registered. Sends lost password emails to the same address if asked, sends email that admin has verified the user to the same email…but WILL NOT send verification email to the same email as registered.
WHATS GOING ON>???

Ok also, just tried the Forgot my password link, got the email for that, BUT it is from WORDPRESS??? How in the world do I change this…we cannot have people getting emails from “WordPress” for our site. So unprofessional. HELP!! Please…:-)

OK, I need some help. I am a relative newbie to both WP and coding, so please be gentle.
I installed RP on WP2.7 and I cannot get the following to occur:
1) The simple captcha ALWAYS returns as invalid when trying to register, so I had to uncheck it, though I would like to utilize this function.
2) One of my custom fields…the last one which was defined as a text area and marked as required, always gives an error that it is not filled even when it was, so I had to uncheck the requires function for that.
3) When I finally get to the part that says an email is being sent to verify the registration, I NEVER get the email to click the link to verify!

As a side note, does anyone know how to remove the top header of the registration and login page that says “back to ‘blog name'”? Or how to change the color of the background for both registration and login pages?

Couple of wishlist items:
1) I need the registration info collected to be inputted into a database or able to be downloaded/exported into Excel. Is this possible? Even with the added custom fields I have added…
2) I am a complete newbie when it comes to CSS, I would love however to change the colors of the required fields and perhaps the other fields and borders as well to match my green theme. Could you make this more straightforward?
