I, or rather we all, look forward to the next official update. An information here would be useful.

I downgraded to version 2.1.20 and was able to restore (save) my original settings with it.

I haven’t tested through everything, but the last official version and the beta version seem to have some bugs.

the problem with the “px” will be fixed in the beta version.

But the problem with saving the forms -> Profile Form -> Customize this form -> Show user description in profile header? -> NO (just as an example) is still there.

The same with other settings. The settings are not saved, but overwritten.

I have a staging environment and the website was developed and tested there too.

The problem isn’t testing the plugins and themes. The problem is that the website has to be indexed with search engines first in order to replicate the error. Indexing does not happen overnight, and neither does changes (tests).

It is not a local problem. The problem occurs with search engines that receive incorrect informations (conical url).

I can provide you with a clone of the website at any time.

Sorry, but I’m not going to risk my website as a test subject for Yoast. My website is online and not a toy for experiments. I can put a theme and plugin copy online for you on a domain and then you can play with it until you find something.

Furthermore, it is not possible to quickly check whether something changes when the plugins are deactivated, because the entries in the search engines have errors (wrong canonicals) and these first have to be indexed. This proposed solution is therefore impractical.
